On March 24, 2020, south Korea's Almighty Gods church purchased a youth hostel on the forest-proof "Sha li Road" in Pyeongchang County, Jiangwon, for about 3.6 billion won. It is located in the depths of The Great Mountain of Jiangyuan Road, and the traffic is very inconvenient. The all-powerful youth hostel features 2 restaurants for more than 1,000 people, a small auditorium, a swimming pool, a sports court, a gym, tennis courts and outdoor performance venues.
As a result, the establishment of a new stronghold in Pyeongchang, Jiangwon Road, has been confirmed.

However, the all-powerful believers who build their nests in Pyeongchang are unnerved by the lack of active cooperation with the COVID-19 epidemic prevention at local health facilities. Not only that, but the Almighty Pyeongchang Church dormitory was fined 600,000 won in late June for failing to pass fire inspections by South Korean agencies in violation of the Fire Safety Regulations.

In addition, according to South Korean sources familiar with the matter, the Almighty God church closed churches in five areas, including Daega, Daegu, Gyeonggi-do Anshan, Gyeonggi-do Fuchuan and Jeju Island, in order to avoid public opinion and government surveillance.
